Ellagic Acid Product Comparisons
There are many Ellagic Acid products available, and can basically be broken down into 4 groups:
1. Products that actually contain Ellagic Acid extracts from different plant
sources.
This group of products
provide the best value for money and therapeutic effectiveness.
2. Products that contain a raspberry powder concentrate.
This group of products is
expensive and not particularly effective when compared to the products in group
1.
3. Products containing raspberry seed powder.
This group of products is

4. Products containing 1mg - 10mg of Ellagic Acid.
This group of products is
produced by companies who know what Ellagic Acid is and want to be able to
promote an existing product as containing Ellagic Acid. These products do not
contain enough Ellagic Acid to be effective.
Most of the Ellagic Acid products available only provide between 20mg and 50mg of Ellagic Acid at their recommended daily dosages.
As many health care practitioners are now recommending a maintenance dosage of 400mg to 900mg and a preferred therapeutic dosage of 900mg to 1,800mg, these products are a very expensive method of obtaining useful amounts of Ellagic Acid.
